I have arranged shards of a story into a sort of mosaic that is meant to conjure the fragmented nature of memory.  With these figure and water drawings, I am distilling the metaphor that I am still working with today—equating water with life.  I have narrowed my focus on narrative to include just the two elements of water and figure.  This is a visual paraphrasing of what Francis Bacon said about tying two elements together in a work to create a relationship or narrative within the piece.
